FSA has published the updated 2025–26 Federal School Code (FSC) List of Participating Schools. The FSC List contains unique codes assigned by the U.S. Department of Education for schools participating in the Title IV federal student aid programs. Students enter these codes on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form to indicate which postsecondary schools will receive the processed application results.
The FSC List of Participating Schools is available electronically in PDF format and as a Microsoft Excel (XLS) file and is posted on a quarterly basis. The XLS file provides the most current FSC information available in a searchable format. There is also search functionality available on fafsa.gov.
