Although she only started officially volunteering with ASPSF Boone County in October 2018, Michelle Byler has been a friend of the organization for some time. Through her job with the TRIO Program at North Arkansas College, Michelle referred students to ASPSF and often helped with their applications.
Since getting involved, Michelle helps in any way asked. She has been instrumental in helping students with their applications and following-up to get their required documents uploaded. She is also involved with student interviews and fundraising planning and presented a soft-skills training at our Spring Award Ceremony. Michelle is always looking to connect students to other scholarship opportunities and community resources. We’re so thankful for her help and are thrilled to honor her as Volunteer of the Month for Region 1.
