ASPSF volunteer LaJoy Montgomery uses her passion to help single-parent students

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund would like to heartfully thank LaJoy Montgomery for her time as a volunteer.

LaJoy, a professional development specialist and coach mentor, began serving single-parent students in Pulaski County in 2021. She currently serves as a member of the Scholarship Committee by reviewing applications and interviewing applicants. She also has recruited additional volunteers for ASPSF.

“LaJoy has brought a passion to her volunteer role as she wants to inspire applicants to reach their dreams, planting a seed of support that others once planted in her,” Program Manager Keisha Smith said.

Although she has only been a volunteer with ASPSF for a short time, she has been instrumental.

Thank you, LaJoy, for everything that you do! Volunteers like you make it possible for Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund to provide life-changing scholarships and support to thousands of low-income single parents each year.
