ASPSF Volunteer of the Month October 2022

    Share

Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is excited to announce Wandra Williams as the Volunteer of the Month for October 2022.

Wandra is the Director of Continuing Education/Community Services at Phillips Community College Helena-West Helena Campus, and she has volunteered with ASPSF for over 12 years.

Wandra is the epitome of a super volunteer. The Phillips County resident is always encouraging our applicants, reminding them of the deadline. She also coordinates workshops, fundraisers, and award ceremonies for the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund East Region.

“Wandra is an amazing lady, mentor, and friend,” one scholarship recipient said. “She is one of the kindest [people], helpful, and fair to all. I’ve been so thankful and blessed to have known and been assisted by her.”

Wandra is known throughout the community and can be found talking about our program to potential students, individuals, businesses, and campus staff. Wandra is a detailed and organized volunteer. ASPSF is grateful for everything she’s done to support our single parent students.

If you’d like to provide life-changing scholarships and support to thousands of low-income single parents like Wandra, fill out the volunteer form at aspsf.org/volunteer.
