Bridging The Gaps: ASPSF 2024 Annual Report

October fundraiser, The Lunch Break, had three incredible speakers (from right): Current recipient Raquelle Roulette, past recipient Kwami Abul-Bey, and supporter Dr. Sherece Y. West-Scantlebury. ASPSF CEO Jenn Morehead (far left) was thrilled to announce the event raised about $90,000, a 40% increase from 2023.

First Community Bank staff shared financial tips with recipients and their families at a Batesville workshop.

ASPSF expanded into Jefferson County and has made great connections at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.

The ASPSF 2025 Outstanding School Partner Award, Enrollment Under 2,500, went to East Arkansas Community College at The Lunch Break.

The 14th annual Garland County Single Parent Style Show raised about $17,000 in the spring.

Thanks to a grant from the Arden J. Stephens Foundation, about a dozen children of Central Arkansas recipients attended educational summer camps and received school supplies at no cost.

A Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament in Jonesboro raised about $5,200.

ASPSF received the 2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Acts of Kindness Commitment to Service Award from Ozan-Inghram Iron Mountain Neighborhood Development Corporation in Texarkana. Board Vice President Sharmane Andrews (right) accepts the award from Morgan Warren.
