Fourth Wing is THE Fantasy Book of the Year

The hype around Fourth Wing, by Rebecca Yarros, is real.  It is all over BookTok, so of course I had to read it.  But there was just one problem: it was a series.  A series.  With only 1 book out.  If I were to read this book, I would be stuck waiting and waiting and waiting for the next book.  Absolute torture.  But the constant ambush of reels on my for you page swayed me.

I will be brutally honest, I read this book in a day.  I could not put it down.  I can’t even tell you why or how, but the book sucked me in so thoroughly that it was three am and I refused to go to sleep.  I was determined to finish this book.  And finish it I did.

This book is for sure the new it book for fantasy – sorry ACOTAR but I full on love this book far more.  I highly recommend giving this book a read, even if you don’t read fantasy often, because this book will continue to be talked about religiously.  I mean, come on, it was released May 2 and 301,579 people have already rated it on goodreads. So without further adieu, I implore you, go read this book.
