Happy National Single Parent Day 2024

    Share

It’s finally here! National Single Parent Day. And Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund is all about celebrating incredible single parents changing the future for their children.

To make our celebration even more special, a generous donor will match all donations! Every dollar you give will be doubled. That’s twice the impact for single parent students like Brittany, Alana, and Harden.

ASPSF Recipient Brittany accepts her scholarship with her three kids

Meet Brittany. This dynamic mom of three works full time, coaches softball, takes her kids to sports practices, volunteers, and still maintains a 4.0 GPA. She’s going to be an incredible teacher when she completes her bachelor’s degree.

Alana with her two teenage daughters

Imagine raising two girls on $8.50 an hour. That’s what Alana did for 10 years, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant. With ASPSF’s help, she earned the degrees and licenses necessary to become a Registered Nurse. Now, she’s making $30 an hour!

    Harden with his daughter

After falling 12 feet in a horrible accident last summer, Harden spent an entire month in the hospital. With incredible determination, he kept up with his classes and grades. He went straight into the fall semester while still recovering so he wouldn’t fall behind on his IT degree plan.

Don’t you just love investing in students like these? Well, we’ve got 1,000 more just like them. Give now and we’ll make this National Single Parent Day one to remember.

Believe in single parent success? Help us raise $2,000 by March 21 to cover one full-time scholarship with support services!
