Her Campus Mingle and Mocktails Review

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Emmanuel chapter.

Two weeks ago, on October 5th, I attended “Mingle and Mocktails”, which was an event held by Her Campus. I met some new people and saw familiar faces, like our club president, Meg. The menu consisted of different flavors of San Pellegrino. It came in cans. There were three flavors: Original, Aranciata Rossa (Blood Orange), and Clementine and Peach. Other things that were available were lime wedges and Shirley Temples, which was Sprite mixed with grenadine syrup. I personally had some blood orange-flavored San Pellegrino, the original flavor with a lime wedge, and I also had a Shirley Temple. My favorite was the Shirley Temple! On top of that, there were little orange and white pumpkins for fall decor as well as music; mainly Taylor Swift, but also a bit of Harry Styles, Luke Bryan, and Kacey Musgraves.

An activity we did together was vision boards. If you don’t know, vision boards are a way to help you manifest your goals. I did my vision board on being a bartender. I am very intrigued by mixology and hope to be a bartender or at least work in a bar at some point. We also did two truths and a lie, and I learned some interesting things about the people there.

I found this whole event to be very enjoyable. It was nice to meet new people, who seem to be new members. I also have notes of new songs to enjoy. I am excited about future events and will make sure to write about them too!
