If you’re a BTS ARMY, needless to say, you’re super excited for the new BTS album releasing March 20. But not only are the fans getting 14 new songs, we’re getting a BTS world tour! For the first time since 2019, and following their military discharges, BTS is embarking on a tour across the world, allowing ARMYs to see their favorite bops and tracks from the new album live.
BTS world tour dates and locations dropped on Jan. 13, with the tour starting on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, hitting multiple cities in the United States (like Tampa, El Paso, and Vegas), and running through March 14, 2027 in Manila. The tour website also mentions that there will be more cities announced soon. Considering the fact that BTS has never done a tour of this scale before, it’s going to be massive, and unlike anything they’ve ever pulled off in the past. Though, while BTS is hitting more cities this tour, their fanbase has grown exponentially in recent years. Meaning, you’ve got a whole lot more competition when it comes to snagging those tickets.
But fear not, I’m here to help. I’ve seen BTS in concert three times (one of which being with a VIP ticket), and I have attended each of the solo member tours. In short, I’ve kind of become a seasoned pro. I know all the tips and tricks you’ll need to get those tour tickets — even when the competition is fierce. While it’s sure to be a challenge nonetheless, here are some pointers to give you the best chance possible.
- Register for an ARMY Membership
Typically, BTS offers a ticket presale for members of its official fanclub. Participating in this presale will greatly increase your chances of securing tickets. In fact, in the past, I have seen tickets sell out in the presale before any non-members get a chance. To get an ARMY membership, download the Weverse app. Under the shop feature, find the BTS section and buy the ARMY membership (be sure it’s the U.S. membership if you’ll be trying for a concert in the states).
Once more details about the tour are released, an announcement will be posted on Weverse instructing you on how to sign up for the presale using your ARMY membership. Be on the lookout for this.
- Make Note of Dates & Times
Once ticketing dates (and times) are announced, write them down on your calendar. To get BTS tickets, you need to be on Ticketmaster as soon as tickets are released. Typically, a queue will open on Ticketmaster about 30 minutes prior to the on-sale time. I recommend logging onto Ticketmaster and joining the queue at least 15 minutes early to be safe.
- Enter Payment Information on Ticketmaster Ahead of Time
Ticketmaster allows you to enter in your payment information ahead of time and save it to your account, rather than entering it in when buying tickets. Ticketing can be stressful and time is of the essence, so any shortcuts like this are valuable. Doing this ensures you won’t be scrambling to type in your credit card number and prolonging the process.
P.S. even if tickets have been added to your cart, you aren’t safe just yet. Ticketmaster allows multiple people to add the same tickets to their cart, and whoever pays first gets them. I’ve had tickets stolen out of my cart and been booted back to the queue while attempting to pay. Streamline the process and add your payment info ahead of time.
- Discuss Plans with Friends

Check out the seating chart and come to an agreement on the sections you’re aiming for (have backups!) and a budget. Again, ticketing moves so quickly and you won’t have time to text and check in before buying. Having the details ironed out with your concert buddies in advance ensures that there will be no second-guessing.
- Once In the Ticketing Queue, Don’t Refresh!
Once you’re in the ticketing queue and see the dreaded updates showing how many people are ahead of you, don’t refresh the screen under any circumstances. Even if it seems that you haven’t moved in the line in a while, be patient and resist. If you refresh the page while in the queue, you’ll be automatically sent to the back of the queue. The line often moves slowly, and it’s taken me over an hour to get in and purchase in the past. Just be patient, stay calm, and move quickly once you’re in. Good luck!
