It is a pleasure to announce Mary Kate Snow as the December 2023 Volunteer of the Month. Mary Kate Snow has been a longtime supporter, donor, and volunteer of the Single Parent program.

She initially began her service over 13 years ago in Pulaski County. Since the transition to the statewide nonprofit, Mary Kate Snow has continued to be a valuable part of our program.

As the Director of TRIO and Veteran Services at the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College, she encourages qualified students to apply, often assisting with applications. She is also a vital part of our Scholarship Committee, serving as an interviewer.

“She does an amazing job of making the students feel comfortable in the interview process and providing amazing resources and support to applicants,” ASPSF Program Manager Keisha Smith said.

Mary Kate’s support and dedication to ASPSF doesn’t stop there! She’s always the first to volunteer to assist during student events such as award ceremonies, graduation celebrations, and workshops. Mary Kate welcomes each opportunity to support ASPSF.

We appreciate you, Mary Kate Snow, for your dedication and commitment to single parent students!
