    SAIG Message Class File Update

    Share

On June 6, 2025, FSA distributed an updated Message Class Table File (MESSAGTB) via the Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG) to all user mailboxes. This update introduces new message classes for the COD System.

The EDconnect software will automatically download and import the new MESSAGTB file during the user’s next connection to the SAIG network. Users will notice an Import dialog box displaying the progress of the import process. For those using network installations, the updated message class table will be imported into the EDconnect database on the network drive, making it accessible to all connected workstations. Stand-alone PC users will receive the update on each machine that initiates a transmission.

FTI-SAIG mailbox users must connect to SAIG to receive the new file. Additionally, the updated message class table file is available in the Software and Other Tools section of the Knowledge Center website.

For assistance or questions regarding this update, contact the FAFSA Processing System (FPS) Help Desk at 1-800-330-5947 or via email at [email protected].
