Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund Southwest Region is proud to recognize Connie Riley as the Volunteer of the Month for July 2022.
Connie has been an ASPSF volunteer in Ouachita County since May 2021. She’s the Director of Financial Aid at Southern Arkansas University Tech in Camden. SAU Tech affords her the opportunity to help students find resources for college and provide counseling and awareness on borrowing money.
As a new volunteer, Connie has not been afraid to get her feet wet! She has taken an active role in assisting with scholarship interviews, providing financial information to students, fundraising for scholarships, and encouraging single parents to apply. Her willingness to review applications, assist with student workshops, and assist with administrative tasks has been remarkable. She is our “willing worker volunteer.”
Connie said she’s motivated to volunteer with ASPSF because she “would like to see single parents succeed.” We are very fortunate to have her on our team and appreciate her dedication and commitment to helping students pursue and reach their educational goals and dreams.
