    There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

    Only brief information about each scholarship is listed. Therefore, you are encouraged to visit the scholarship websites to get further details about eligibility and requirements.

    AMPP Scholarships
    Sponsor: Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP)
    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: January 4, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to current college students pursuing a career in the field of corrosion technology, science, or engineering.

    NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
    Sponsor: National Collegiate Athletic Association
    Amount: Up to $10,000
    Closing Date: January 5, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to student athletes who have achieved in their last year of varsity-level intercollegiate fall athletics at an NCAA school. Applicant must be nominated by the faculty athletic representative or athletic director and be enrolling as a full- or part-time graduate student. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

    Conflict Conqueror Scholarship
    Sponsor: The Bihm Law Firm, LLC
    Amount: $1,000.00
    Closing Date: January 7, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate students with at least a 3.5 GPA and are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Applicant must submit an essay on the following prompt: “Describe a time in your life when you experienced conflict. Please elaborate on the steps you took to resolve the conflict and what you learned from the experience.”

    Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
    Sponsor: Jackie Robinson Foundation
    Amount: Up to $35,000 over four years
    Closing Date: January 7, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating minority high school seniors who plan on attending an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States. Applicant must show leadership potential, dedication to community service, and evidence of financial need.

    Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
    Sponsor: Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
    Amount: Up to $55,000
    Closing Date: January 7, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to current students at accredited U.S. community colleges who have plans to enroll full-time in a baccalaureate program at an accredited college in fall of 2026. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA and demonstrate significant unmet financial need. There is no citizenship requirement but student must have attended an accredited two-year institution in the United States.

    Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards
    Sponsor: Helen Diller Family Foundation
    Amount: Up to $36,000
    Closing Date: January 8, 2026
    Description: Award is open to Jewish teens who are between the ages of 13 and 19 at the time of nomination. Student must have demonstrated impressive leadership and are actively engaged in community service projects that embody the value of tikkun olam (repair of the world).

    Gryphon Scholarship Program
    Sponsor: Churchill Asset Management
    Amount: At least $2,500
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who will be graduating or individuals who have graduated from a school located in one of the following metropolitan areas: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Greater WPB Area), New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Charlotte, NC, or Los Angeles, CA. Applicant must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university. Preference will be given to students studying Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

    Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship
    Sponsor: The American Institute of Architects
    Amount: $10,000.00
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to women studying architecture within a NAAB accredited bachelor or master’s degree program. Applicant must be entering at least their third year of undergraduate or any level of graduate study.

    Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union High School Senior Scholarship
    Sponsor: Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union
    Amount: $2,500.00
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union members who are college bound high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall.

    Pride Foundation Scholarships
    Sponsor: Pride Foundation
    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Applicant must be a resident of the Northwest (Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington) and pursuing post-secondary education. Applicant must also be LGBTQ or a straight ally student leader.

    Randall/LaRossa College Scholarship
    Sponsor: American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association
    Amount: Up to $10,000
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who have a diagnosis of cleft lip and/or cleft palate or other congenital craniofacial difference). Preference will be given to rising first-year students in any field and to currently enrolled students in a field of study related to cleft or craniofacial conditions (e.g. genetic counseling, speech-language pathology).

    Yann Weymouth Graduate Scholarship
    Sponsor: The American Institute of Architects
    Amount: $5,000 and mentorship from Yann Weymouth, FAIA
    Closing Date: January 9, 2026
    Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are graduate students attending a NAAB-accredited architecture program. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and whose work demonstrates an exemplary focus at the design intersection of sustainability, resilience, wellness and beauty.
