    There are thousands of scholarships out there. Below you will find many scholarships, most with general eligibility requirements. My goal is to share some lesser-known scholarships with my readers every Saturday.

    Innovation Scholarship Essay Contest

    Amount: $1,000.00
    Closing Date: May 6, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current students enrolled in a two-year or four-year undergraduate program at a college, university or technical school in Texas. Applicant must submit a video addressing one of six given topics (leadership, why you deserve the scholarship, your biggest influence or inspiration, innovation, being brave, or a contribution you have made to your community.

    ISACA Scholarship Program

    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: May 6, 2025
    Description: Scholarships are open to students who are members of a historically underrepresented population within the tech place who plan on pursue a career in a cyber-related field.

    Hormel Inspired Scholars Program
    Sponsor: Hormel Foods | UNCF
    Amount: Up to $4,700
    Closing Date: May 7, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to college sophomores and juniors enrolled at any HBCU (Historically Black College or University). Preference shall be for students majoring in accounting, business, engineering, supply chain management and operations management.

    Illinois Restaurant Association Scholarships
    Sponsor: Illinois Restaurant Association
    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: May 7, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students in the state of Illinois who are studying culinary arts.

    NHHEAF Network Scholarship
    Sponsor: The NHHEAF Network
    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: May 7, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to New Hampshire residents who are current college students who will be returning as an undergraduate (non-freshmen) in the fall. Applicant must be able to demonstrate financial need and have at least a 2.5 GPA.

    ICTM Scholarships
    Sponsor: Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics
    Amount: $1,500.00
    Closing Date: May 8, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to juniors and seniors in an accredited university or college in Illinois during current Spring term with a graduation during May of this year or later. Applicant must be a mathematics education major, or mathematics major with an education minor, or an education major with an official mathematics emphasis.

    Family Fellowship Scholarship
    Sponsor: Foster Love
    Amount: Up to $60,000
    Closing Date: May 9, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate students who have been in foster care while living in the United States. Applicant must have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months leading up to and including their 18th birthday OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship from foster care after their 13th birthday OR have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday.

    Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship
    Sponsor: Centre Technologies
    Amount: Up to $5,000
    Closing Date: May 9, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen and current college students who are pursuing a technology related degree at an accredited college in Texas or Oklahoma.

    UFCW International Scholarship Program
    Sponsor: United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Charity Foundation
    Amount: Up to $8,000 (over four years)
    Closing Date: May 11, 2025
    Description: Scholarships are open to UFCW members who have been active since January 1, 2024 or children/dependents of active members if they are unmarried and under the age of 20 on May 25, 2025.

    Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship
    Sponsor: Kanoski Bresney
    Amount: $1,000.00
    Closing Date: May 12, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who will be attending college through the fall. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must submit an essay on a given topic related to distracted driving.

    US Foods Scholars Program
    Sponsor: US Foods, Inc.
    Amount: Up to $20,000
    Closing Date: May 12, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are pursuing or planning to pursue a two-year, associate degree in the Culinary Arts or a related discipline, including, but not limited to, Culinary Science, Baking and Pastry Arts, Food Business Management, and Restaurant and Hospitality Management.

    Best Foot Forward Scholarship
    Sponsor: Grant Law Office
    Amount: $1,500.00
    Closing Date: May 13, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students in the United States who are residents of Georgia. Applicant must submit an essay on a significant challenge they have faced.

    National Presbyterian College Scholarship
    Sponsor: Presbyterian Mission Agency
    Amount: Up to $2,000
    Closing Date: May 13, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) members entering college in fall 2025 at a Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) related college or university.

    TLMI Scholarships
    Sponsor: TLMI
    Amount: Up to $5,000
    Closing Date: May 13, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to current college students who demonstrate interest in employment in the tag, label and/or package printing industry.

    UNCF 3M Science. Applied to Life. Scholarship
    Sponsor: 3M | UNCF
    Amount: Varies
    Closing Date: May 13, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to underrepresented high school seniors and current first-year college students from St. Paul Public Schools, local Charter Schools serving St. Paul students, or the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District. Applicant must be interested in pursuing a STEM degree.

    Lucas Law Legal Leaders Scholarship
    Sponsor: Lucas Law
    Amount: $1,000.00
    Closing Date: May 14, 2025
    Description: Scholarship is open to current undergraduate and graduate students who plan on pursuing a career in the legal field. Applicant must have at least a 3.5 GPA.
