The final day also started bright and early for Entertainment Chair James Bowdin and these walkers.

SI Chair Judy Hager led the morning’s kick start session officially commencing the last day. We were seriously impressed when the final idol disappeared from its hiding spot so quickly. The only problem was that we didn’t know who had it… A few hours later we were notified that Courtney Gibson from the Loan Rangers had been the one to find it in record time – way to go Courtney!

After classes adjourned at the end of the day, we headed back to the ballroom for the closing banquet and awards. SI Chair Judy Hager and RMASFAA President Justin Brown each shared remarks commending the students, faculty, and committee for being part of SI 2025. Justin also handled some unfinished business by presenting Daisha Holmes the Oscar ‘Jack’ Hendrix Award that was announced at the most recent RMASFAA conference. The evening continued with remarks from faculty and awards for students from each class. There were many handshakes, hugs, and happy tears. Entertainment Chair James Bowdin rounded out the program by announcing that it was a close race, but this year’s class with the most participation points was the Loan Rangers! After the program concluded, students, faculty, and committee members found themselves enjoying karaoke and dancing late into the night.

Thank you for tuning in to our coverage of RMASFAA’s Summer Institute 2025. Stay tuned for some post-season content coming soon!
