The NDASFAA Spring Conference was held in Minot ND, April 9-11, 2025. Attendees included representation from almost all ND colleges and universities and a guest from Rocky Mountain College in South Dakota. Overall, the event was extremely successful. Lindsey Benson and the Minot State team did a wonderful job hosting the event. The Sleep Inn in Minot did a great job catering and providing adequate space for all the conference needs.
The conference agenda had very diverse topics that created very good discussion and conversation about not only Financial Aid, but overall individual well-being. Here is a quick snapshot of some of the agenda items:

Attendees were also provided the opportunity to prepare for the NASFAA Needs Analysis Credential – Part 2 with two very entertaining presenters, Judy Hager from the University of Jamestown and Karrie Huber from the University of Mary. They made hand calculating SAI fun!
President Kelsey Walters presented the annual awards, which included the President’s Award that went to Susan Cordahl of Mayville State University. Susan is currently battling serious health issues. Kelsey inspired the attendees with her words honoring Susan and taking a moment of silence for Andrea Carver, formerly of Williston State College who passed away earlier in the year.
