Support Single Parents As They Return To School This Fall

    Share

ASPSF Recipient Maria celebrates her scholarship with her daughter and Program Manger Christi Brown.

    Dear Friends,

It’s back-to-school time, and parents are trying to go back to school to earn their degrees, provide for their families, and create a better future. But they can’t do it alone.

Right now, when you give $100, it DOUBLES to $200 thanks to a generous supporter who is matching gifts.

Moms like Maria need your support to rewrite their stories.

Maria was raised by a hardworking single mother. Life wasn’t easy, and by the age of 17, Maria dropped out of high school.

A few years later, she found herself in a similar position, parenting her own child, struggling to make ends meet, and wondering if she’d ever get the chance to build a better life.

Thanks to compassionate people like you, Maria learned of our scholarship opportunities.  She applied and received a scholarship that helped her to go back to school.

Now she’s pursuing her dream of becoming a registered nurse while raising a bright, energetic toddler — all because someone like you believed in her and made a gift to help. She told us…

“Balancing motherhood, clinicals, and classes isn’t easy, but with motivation, determination, and the support of Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, anything is possible.”

Maria is scheduled to graduate next spring, but we really need your help to ensure she keeps going.  And now is the time to give.  Every dollar you give will be doubled!

We have a waiting list for this back-to-school season.  Hundreds of determined single parents will return to school with hopes of building better futures — for themselves and for their children.

But one unexpected crisis — a missed paycheck, a car repair, a medical bill — can threaten it all.

Your donation before 9/15 doubles. You can help ensure they can go to school and don’t have to drop out!

When you give today, you’re not just supporting a single parent. You’re changing generations.  You’re putting food on the table, gas in the tank, and hope in a parent’s heart.

Because of you, parents like Maria don’t have to choose between feeding their children and finishing their education.

You give the gift of education that changes lives at aspsf.org/give.

Please consider a gift of $100, $150, or $200 today, and your gift will DOUBLE when you give before 9/15. Your generosity doesn’t just help a single parent, it transforms generations.

    Gratefully,

    Jenn Morehead
    Chief Executive Officer
    Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund

P.S. Your support does more than help a parent stay in school, it changes the future for their entire family. You are the reason single parents like Maria can keep going.

P.P.S.  Make your gift before 9/15 please at aspsf.org/give.
