These Tweets About Reneé Rapp & Megan Thee Stallion’s “Not My Fault” Music Video Are Everything

    Share

I like a lot of things, but somebody I really like is Reneè Rapp. As a former theatre kid, I’ve been a Reneè stan for years, and it’s great to see how quickly her career is taking off. I’m counting down the days until I see Rapp as the icon that is Regina George in the new adaptation of Mean Girls the musical, but in the meantime, you can find me watching the “Not My Fault” music video on repeat.

Rapp doesn’t do collabs quite often, but when she does, they are incredible. Her most recent collab with one of my favorite female rappers, Megan Thee Stallion, on their song “Not My Fault” for the Mean Girls musical movie has been on repeat. So when I found out a music video was dropping for this song, I lost it. The music video, which dropped on Jan. 5, was perfectly Mean Girls coded, featuring iconic scenes from the movie and recreations of Regina George’s outfits,, further proving why Reneè Rapp is the perfect Regina George.

I truly couldn’t think of a better pairing than Reneè Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion for this music video, and I’m not alone.

Users on X/Twitter are also losing their minds over this video.

Some people are really into the MV and TBH, I’m right there with them:

Not my fault is such a fun song like I didn’t expect to love it this much djdjhdhdhd I can see it being a hit if the mean girls movie does good and they promote it and perform it

If you also loved this MV, get ready to see even more in the new Mean Girls movie, which will be released in theatres on Jan. 12! FYI, if you can’t get a hold of me for the next few hours, I’m busy learning the choreography from the music video.
