The Mug 3 keeps coffee, tea or hot chocolate at the temperature you choose, set on the mug itself or in the Ember app, and it remembers the last setting. According to Ember's Amazon listing, the included sipping lid holds heat in and stretches the battery to up to three hours away from the base, and the mug stays warm all day on its charging coaster, which is included.
